A sparkle in the rough as she is one of the more recent graduates of the curriculum, Ziah actively builds her career where she can show her passion in community and volunteerism. Currently an educator in the islands of Tawi-Tawi, Ziah is dedicated to shaping the futures of the youth, polishing their potential to shine just as brightly as she does ✨

Graduate Class of 2023

Ziah is a graduate of BS Human Ecology, majoring in Social Technology class of 2023. Currently, she serves as a volunteer teacher for both elementary and high school students at the Panglima Haji SULADS Academy in Laa Island, Simunul, Tawi-Tawi.

Prior to her role at SULADS Philippines, Ziah worked as a Research Assistant for Pure Earth Philippines, a non-governmental organization dedicated to addressing toxic pollution.

Her deep interest in environmental issues and her passion in volunteerism has led her to work in such sectors where she was able to use what she had learned during her undergraduate years, especially on the areas of Filipino values, social development, and community services and programs.
