Nadine Datay Oficial has extensive experience working in the development sector in the areas of peacebuilding, rehabilitation and recovery, resettlement and housing. She started her career in government in the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission and has worked with the basic sectors specifically the urban poor sector for the resettlement projects in NCR through the National Anti-Poverty Commission.

Nadine is currently working towards the attainment of SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, in UNDP. She is involved in the implementation of peacebuilding projects with focus on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism; Women, Peace and Security; and Youth, Peace and Security Agenda, displacement and conflict mediation and resolution, mostly in BARMM.

She currently advocates for digital peacebuilding specifically for youth to promote peaceful narratives both online and offline.
