The Department of Social Development Services held its semestral Social Technology (ST) Orientation for the First Semester AY 2024-2025 last 7 October 2024 at the CHE Multi-Purpose Hall.  Recently branded #BeSTie, the orientation aims to inform BS Human Ecology students the ins-and-outs of the Social Technology major. With the current theme of "Pagbabalik, Pagsisimula, at Pagpapatuloy: Teknolohiyang Panlipunan para sa Bayan at Kalikasan", it celebrates the Alumni, Majors, and future Majors with their current and soon-to-be inspiring stories to be told under the program.

To ensure the fun and enjoyment of the attendees, pinoy games was the choice of gimmick this semester — filling the evening with exciting fiesta games (and food!). In between the festivities, DSDS alumni Cassandra Kyle Chamen of Class 2018 and Iarra Mae De Silva of Class 2022 shared their experiences and learnings from the program as a testimony of their journey as Social Technologists. To top it all off, the current majors joined in as they serenaded the aspiring students with their original ST song showcasing their talents.
